A Resounding Success: Reflecting on the Second International Conference on Engineering and Technology (ICET-2025)
The Ethiopian Institute of Technology-Mekelle (EiT-M) at Mekelle University is proud to announce the successful conclusion of the Second International Conference on Engineering and Technology (ICET-2025). Held from August 20 to 21, 2025, at the Planet Hotel in Mekelle, the conference brought together a vibrant gathering of experts, scholars, and industry leaders from around the world.

ICET-2025 served as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, featuring insightful keynote addresses from five distinguished international scholars representing universities and industries across Africa, Europe, and the United States. The conference showcased 39 innovative research papers presented by academics and researchers from both national and international institutions, fostering enriching discussions on the future of engineering and technology.
We were honored to welcome over 190 in-person attendees and more than 120 virtual participants, whose active engagement contributed to a lively and productive atmosphere.
