Official Notice to NGAT Applicants Assigned to Mekelle University
This is to inform all applicants whose National Graduate Admission Test (NGAT) examination center is Mekelle University that the official examination schedule has been released. Candidates are advised to carefully review the following information:
Examination Schedule
Date: February 11, 2026 (Yekatit 4, 2018 E.C.)
Examination Center: Mekelle University, Main (Arid) Campus

Candidates are advised to mark the examination date and make the necessary preparations in advance.
Applicants should familiarize themselves with the Main (Arid) Campus prior to the examination day.
Important Notes:
Presentation of a valid admission card is mandatory.
The use of calculators is strictly prohibited.
All candidates are strongly advised to comply with the above instructions.

Call for Papers: AI for Sustainable Development in Africa (AI4SD 2026)

Mekelle University is pleased to announce a Grand International Conference on “Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development in Africa (AI4SD 2026)”, to be held on 27–28 April 2026 in Mekelle, Ethiopia.

The conference aims to bring together researchers, academics, policymakers, practitioners, and innovators to share research findings, practical experiences, and emerging ideas on the application of artificial intelligence to support sustainable development across Africa.

Researchers and professionals are invited to submit original and high-quality papers addressing, but not limited to, themes related to AI, sustainable development, innovation, and digital transformation.
