Delegates from the Czech Republic Visit Mekelle University
Delegates from the Czech Republic held discussions with the top management of Mekelle University. The delegation included Mr. Peter Gandolovich, Director for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Assistance at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Madam Zendeka Subrova, Deputy Head of the Africa Department; and Mrs. Barbora Zak Vlansova, Head of Cooperation at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Addis Ababa.

The meeting, led by Mekelle University’s Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Abdelkader Kedir focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation. Key topics included on preparations for an upcoming visit by higher representatives from Masaryk University, the establishment of a Geo Library through the UNDP Challenge Fund, and strategies for university capacity building. Both sides expressed optimism for future collaborations.
