College of Health Sciences, Mekelle University in collaboration with USAID Health Workforce Improvement Program (HWIP) has organized a half day consultative/sensitization/ workshop focused on Academic leadership. This is a great opportunity to deal with the existing challenges that are hindering the operational activities and put alleviating directions.

The CHS leadership members (department heads, position holders’ equivalent to dep’t heads, CC members) have been participated in the workshop.

Executive management members of CHS-ACSH including Dr. Kibrom Gebresilassie (CED), Dr. Abha Gebreselama, (CARD) Dr. Fasika Amdesilasie (QA head), and Dr. H/selassie Berhe (CABBD) have presented on philosophy of leadership in academics and the existing challenges from internal and external facfors. Participants have also reflected valuable issues to ensure a better academic undertakings.
