Rise and Shine Women Empowerment Center marked the "International Day of Living Together in Peace" by hosting a panel discussion in partnership with the MU Center for Peace and Reconciliation and the Mekelle American Corner.
The event aimed to promote unity and harmony among individuals from diverse backgrounds, inspire positive change and promote a culture of peace and inclusivity in the community with a particular focus on the importance of women's inclusion in peace-building initiatives.
The panel discussion featured participants from different government and non-government institutions, University staff and students as well as experts and activists who shared insights on fostering peaceful coexistence and understanding.
