In the occassion, Mekelle University leadership presented the current status and the longstanding relationship between Mekelle University and China. HE Ambasador Zhoo Zhiyuan underscored that great attention should be given to education. Moreover, he and his colleagues emphasized that they will do their best to collaborate Mekelle university with the Chinese Universities.
He furthermore underlined that his delegates will work in collaboration for the restoration of Mekelle University, especially in the engineering and capacity building areas.
