College of Veterinary Sciences Hosts Training of Mentors.
Mekelle University College of Veterinary Sciences is hosting a one-week Training of Mentors from June 24-28, 2024. Participants from CVS-MU, Tigray Bureau of Agriculture, and Tigray Agricultural Research Institute are attending in the training. Following this, frontline veterinarians across Tigray will undergo a four-month In-Service Applied Veterinary Epidemiology Training starting from July 1, 2024. This program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and FAO, aims to enhance disease prevention and response capabilities. Senior trainers from MoA and FAO are leading the initiatives.
