A team of senior scientist from China Lanzhou Veterinary Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (LVRI-CAAS) paid a visit in Mekelle University, College of Veterinary Sciences.
As per the MoU signed last year under the Belt and Road African-China Science and Technology Partnership Programme between Mekelle University, College of Veterinary Sciences (MU-CVS) and LVRI-CAAS are collaborating to carry out joint research projects, exchanging scientists, and establishing a long-term scientific research friendship between them.

During their 4-days' visit, the team members will impart their extensive expertise in research and technologies related to the prevention and control of infectious animal diseases.
To further strengthen the research partnership between the institutes, the LVRI CAAS team will have a meeting with the university's management and CVS staffs to discuss on the potential next steps.
