European Masters forStudent Scholarships for Third Country StudentsThe Erasmus Mundus Scholarships for non-Europeans aim at strengthening European co-operation and international links in higher education by enabling students and visiting scholars from around the world to engage in postgraduate study at European universities. In the EMLE programme, this means that each year a number of non-European students will receive a grant of 21,000 € per selected student. The European Commission has informed us that there will be scholarships for third country students for the academic year 2009-2010. Hence, the uncertainty regarding that issue has been resolved. In addition, the European Commission has informed us that there will also be scholarships available for students for the candidate member states of the EU (Croatia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Turkey). This implies that these students have to apply as third country students, not as European students! |
