Mekelle University College of Natural and Computional Science has held a consultative workshop on revitalizing and enhancing education in Tigray.

Dr. kiros Guesh- Head of Tigray Education Bureau in the opening session said that such workshops are very important for the revitalization of education in Tigray. Papers on thematic areas of psychological recovery, school feeding, implementing accelarated learing as a strategy for recovering loss and building back better, minimum standard for education in emergencies and international exprience and implemantation in Tigray are presented and discussed in the workshop.
 
 

Delegates from the China Embasy led by HE Ambasador Zhoo Zhiyuan paid a visit at Mekelle University.

In the occassion, Mekelle University leadership presented the current status and the longstanding relationship between Mekelle University and China. HE Ambasador Zhoo Zhiyuan underscored that great attention should be given to education. Moreover, he and his colleagues emphasized that they will do their best to collaborate Mekelle university with the Chinese Universities. 

Kuehne Foundation and its partner EMG signed MoU with Mekelle University to renew their support to the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Program.

Kuehne Foundation, an esteemed international non profit organization and its local partner EMG consulting have reached on agreement to support the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Education Program of Mekelle University. In the occassion, Dr. Fana Hagos, the president of Mekelle University, Dr. Andre, the Global Director  of Kuehne Foundation and Mr. Elias Melake, CEO of EMG Consulting signed MoU that marks the beginning of successful logistics program at Mekelle University.
