The library collection contains of textbook, reference book, journals, periodicals, articles, thesis, dissertation and magazines. Currently, the library has more than 165,000 collections such as textbook, reference books, journals, periodicals and magazines. Mekelle university libraries play an important role in supporting the university mission of excellence through teaching and research by making information resources easy, timely and accessible  both hard copy and softcopy resources to all university library users.
